The Snap-EZ 4 Life G-Tube Pads

Snap-EZ 4 Life is now creating G-Tube Pads by retrofitting the nursing pads with a slit and a snap!

For the ease of desciptions, I will refer to the returofitted nursing pads as "pads", and keep in mind that I am descibing the nursing pads we currently make that we can retrofit into g-Tube Pads.

The pads can be resized in several diameters to meet the variety of needs.

The larger the size, the more absorbent the pads, giving better coverage for heavy flow times (illness or overnight). The booster pads can be used under the larger pads for added absorbency, or for times of light absorbency needs and increased airflow is desired.

The smaller the size, the more discrete it is, and this works better for wearing under thin garments, or anytime - especially for smaller children. The "booster" small pads are not
waterproof and can be used with a regular pad for extra absorbency overnight!

There are basically two types of absorbent material in the Pads - Hemp (pads containing
hemp will come with lavender stitching, but this coloring will almost dissappear after they
are boiled for prepping) or cotton (white stitching)- and here's what you'll find inside the pads

Hemp Pads:

There are three types of hemp knits in the pads.
In the PUL/Microfleece pads we use the Hemp French Terry. This is a great, trim fabric
that will work well in most situations.
In the Windpro/Microfleece pads and the "Booster" pads (small, hemp/microfleece) we use the Hemp Fleece - this is a little more absorbent than the French Terry, but it is also a little bulkier, so we are putting these in the Windpro pads, as the windpro pads are intended for at home or at night time when bulk is not the greatest concern.
The Slim Pads are made with PUL/Hemp Jersey/Microchamois - these are our thinnest materials, yet the hemp jersey will be absorbent, yet these are so trim!!!

Cotton Pads:

There are two types of cotton knits in the nursing pads.
In the PUL/Microfleece pads, Windpro/Microfleece pads and the "Booster" padswe use the Hemp French Terry. This is a great, absorbent fabric that will work well in most situations. Sherpa is thicker than hemp, but is a great alternative for those who need to avoid hemp, or dislike the prepping necessary for hemp products!
The Slim Nursing Pads are made with PUL/Cotton Jersey/Microchamois - these are our thinnest materials, yet the hemp jersey will be absorbent, yet these are so trim!!!

To help you decide which materials are best for your needs, here's a rundown of their properties:

PUL (Polyeurathane Laminate) - 100% Polyester - This is a barrier fabric that is soft and flexible and will be best at preventing leaks. This is very trim!

Wind Pro waterproof fleece - this is a breathable waterproof fleece - looks and feels like microfleece, but the tighter weave makes it waterproof. This is a great barrier fabric, yet it's soft and actually grips a bit to keep things right where you want them to stay! This is not as waterproof as PUL, but in most conditions, the difference is not noticeable and the Windpro is a breathable material. This is a little bulky, but the comfort it gives makes up for a lot!

Organic Bamboo Velour - This is a beautiful velour. Soft and has a natural sheen. This is a combination of organic bamboo and organic cotton.

Cotton Velour - This is a wonderful cotton/polyester velour. Soft and so absorbent! The polyester is only in the backing, so you only get soft cotton against the skin!

Microfleece - 100% Polyester - this is a stay-dry fabric. Microfleece will wick the wetness away from you and into the soaker, for greater comfort. It is also very soft.

To help you decide which size would be best for your needs, here's are some ideas:

3 - 4 inch G-Tube Pads

- These work so well for awsome absorbency and longer wear - overnight, illness, or just around the house!

2 - 2 1/2 inch G-Tube Pads

- These are more discrete than than the larger diameters, and are great for children. These wear well under most clothing !

Slim Style G-Tube Pads

- these are so trim, no one will know you are wearing them! Each of the three layers is the thinnes material available - PUL/Jersey/Microchamois (the thinnest of microfleece and oh so soft!!

Small "Booster" G-Tube Pads

- these can be worn with either side against your skin - microfleece or sherpa/hemp fleece. These are trim, but not waterproof - great for times when you are needing very breathable, light protection! These can also be used with the waterproof pads in a larger diameter to boost their absorbency!

Snap-EZ 4 Life G-Tube Pads are great for those who want good reliable protection

and are looking for a reusable product,

freeing themselves from the tyranny of purchasing "disposables" over and over again

- buy it once and use for years!!!

And don't forget to get some Snap-EZ Wet Bags in size

Small and Mini (will hold 2 - 6 pads), so you can use these "on the go" too!
